Not for the faint of heart
So I walked into this hotel, a real eye opener, with its ancient decor and a staircase that could probably tell tales of its own. Mario at reception was surprisingly chill, let me check out my room before I forked over the cash, which was a nice touch in a place like this.
Wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but you know, it was still acceptable.

Had a great time with friends at this spot! It's just a 4-minute walk from the shopping centre and an 8-minute stroll to the park. Rooms were comfy, and the staff was really friendly. Perfect for our group hangout, just make sure to inquire about food options ahead of time.

Not great, but the location is cool
We stayed for 2 nights in a double room. The staff were friendly, and the location is pretty neat, right near the market. The room itself was a bummer though—had a loose toilet seat and the carpet was super stained. had some weird noises from outside early in the morning, which was annoying.

The grand, historic building instantly captures attention with its charm and architectural features, providing a welcoming atmosphere. The huge, comfortable room featured a spotless bathroom and great Wi-Fi, making it ideal for working or relaxing. A bit of attention to the decor and a better TV setup would enhance the experience further. the presence of scaffolding and initial mix-ups at checkout left a slightly sour taste, though the staff remained friendly and apologetic throughout.

The stay was quite enjoyable due to the characterful room which looked just like the website depicted. It was refreshing to have secure car parking, making it easier to explore nearby attractions like the Octagon Gallery. There were several breakfast options within walking distance at pubs and cafés, which was a big plus since the hotel didn’t provide dining facilities.
